Commissioner Angela Rodell
Angela Rodell, Commissioner of Revenue, joined the State of Alaska in September 2011. Ms. Rodell has most recently served as State Treasurer and Deputy Commissioner over Revenue's Treasury Division, Permanent Fund Dividend Division and the Child Support Services Division.
Formerly, Ms Rodell served as financial advisor to more than $30 billion of transactions for state and state authorities in Alaska, Arkansas, California, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island and Virginia. Transactions included general obligation, pension obligation, public power, tobacco securitization, single family housing, multifamily housing, military housing, toll road and transportation financing.
Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Ms Rodell served as the finance officer to Kentucky Housing Corporation. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky.

Deputy Commissioner Michael Pawlowski
Michael Pawlowski was named Deputy Commissioner for Strategic Finance on January 2, 2014.
Prior to this appointmant Pawlowski served as petroleum fiscal systems advisor to the commissioner. A lifelong Alaskan, Pawlowski graduated from Alaska Pacific University. He previously worked for Alaska Permanent Capital Management Company, the Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority, and as an aide specializing in oil and gas, energy, and finance issues for the Alaska Legislature. Pawlowski leads special projects and teams within the department.
